Last year I had a fairly good chance of wining the first edition of the "wave of the winter" presented by surf line.com . I had captured one of the most amazing rides at pipeline Brazilian, surfer Thiago camarao simply got a stoning waves on nov 14 2010.

This year the format was a little diferent surfers and videographers had 3 months to submit the videos , and each moth the announced the finalist of the month.

recently was selected the finalist for this year , I'm glad to have a few rides as contenders to the $25.000 prize.

next week they should decide the winner for this year wave of the winter edition.

BLIND FAITH

This images are a small sample of a documentary that I'm working on. It will show a little of the life of Brazilian Blind surfer Derek Rabelo.

And I have to admit, that I never expected that this short video would make it to the news here in Hawaii.

Stephany lum , even invited us over for an interview on the studios and it was nice to get to meet then.

BEACH WEDDING

I'm happy with the results of the images from this beach wedding. Magno and katherine got married here at the north shore on a beautiful day!!

the surf was actually pretty epic on that day , so for me was hard to stop shooting epic pipeline with 15 feet surf to go shoot this wedding.

But in the end I was very pleased with the results of some of the images.

NO DOUBTS GABRIEL MEDINA IS THE NEW STAR OF THE ASP WORLD TOUR.

HANGING OUT WITH HIM DURING THE NORTH SHORE SEASON THIS YEAR WAS PRETTY COOL, BESIDES THE GIG I WAS DOING FOR NIKE BRAZIL WE ALSO DID A NICE LITTLE SEGMENT FOR TRIP TV AND SOME PHOTOS FOR AN ARTICLE AT TRIP MAGAZINE.
